The McKelmann Photoblog

September kicked off with a night out at the hockey game, dressed up and sporting the new Spud Kings hat Deanna picked up for Nick. From there it was a farmers market stroll, a checkup for Loki, freshly bleached teeth for Deanna, and a stop at a Serial Killer Speakeasy. The real scene stealer, though, was Boomer, a neighborhood dog who wandered onto the porch wanting to play, got invited in, made himself thoroughly at home, and then turned up again later in the month. Bruce kept up his own tradition of claiming Nick's lap the second he sat down.

The back half of the month belonged to projects. Nick picked up a pair of Fear and Loathing style sunglasses for an upcoming cruise, braved a very cold day at the races, and repainted the calendar board after scraping off the old logo. Most of his energy went to the delivery van, battling stubborn vinyl and that USPS logo, all leading up to his new side gig driving for Amazon. AI summary
